Batik Tryout

Spent our friday night at SAM trying our hands on Batik painting.
Ain't easy but fun, definately worthy of the trip down.

www.idowhatilike.com gets a new face lift after 2 years.
This time taking a more simple approach with more focus on the content as I realise previous portfolio had been a rather experimental one, losing out on user experience as navigation was via metaphors with not enough indication.
So here you go. A simple site with full focus on content. www.idowhatilike.com
"Works" section still in the updates, thus the only hand full of works shown now.

Tumblelite, a flash based site that pulls contents from Tumblr. Not a bad way to waste sometime I would say, more often than not content pulled are pretty interesting.
Btw, my Tumblr account is here. Or click that little widget by the right column on my blog ->
cheers. :)

1 years 7 months, not too long but definitely ain't short either. Been a roller coaster ride. For now I'm still uncertain if my decisions are right, but we've got to take risk sometimes. We'll see.:)

I really don't remember where i download this picture from. But it have been sitting on my desktop for a while now (and i'm someone who likes to keep my desktop clean).
Every time before i drag things from my desktop into the recycle bin i'll open the file and check what it is. But the quote is so powerful every time it makes me hold back from deleting it.
So I'm finally posting it hoping it can serve as a source of inspiration for others too. (and so that i can finally drag it into the recycle bin coz i've got a record here heh)

Its a beauty. I always knew my mum have a cute nice looking vintage camera kept away in her wardrobe but never really went to check it out. Until yesterday i finally asked to borrow from her. This is it:
The Rollei 35 Led
Those interested can read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rollei_35#Rollei_35_LED_2
Its really a pretty looking little thing.
Its a pity it runs on battery and the battery is out of production, thought I could have a play with it.
Here's to start off my mission of "Book of the Year". Cheers peeps!

Random Sunday night, randomly scrolling through my feeds on Google Reader, and randomly chancing upon this blog post by W+K Tokyo about W+K London's "Book of the Year". As quoted on the blog:
"It’s a printed version of their blog, and a great overview of everything that happened over the last 12 months, including all their work, office culture, client news, travel escapades, parties, people and general goings on."
